The Roboplex
The Roboplex is the only dedicated FTC Robot arena in North Texas. Haveing everything installed and permanent allows us the luxury of starting an event by powering up the equipment and adding referees and robots. Our permanant systems include:
- FTC compliant scoring system
- Audience Seating for 100+
- Two competition rings with current game elements
- Practice Ring with current game elements
- Complete Live-Streaming capabilities
- Building Wide PA system
- Status Displays throughout the facility
- On-site Restrooms
- Permanent with with chairs and tables for 16 teams.
The first event of the season held at the Roboplex is the Halloween Screamage, a no-fee scrimmage intended to bring experienced senior teams together with rookie teams looking for assistance. After there there are a minimum of two events every month at the Roboplex. The Roboplex hosts the 32 team X-League meets and the North Texas All-Region Scrimmages. Like all FIRST events, the Public is always invited to spectate, here are our planned robot events this season.
